Why Are Porcelain Veneers Needed?

Who Needs Veneers?

If your front teeth are decayed, or need additional work, we’ll recommend treatment before any type of veneer is placed. Most healthy adult patients who want veneers can easily have the procedure done in our office.
What Happens During Procedure?
We start by filing down the front teeth to make room for the new veneers. Impressions are then used to make your actual veneers. The veneers themselves are placed at your next appointment. We will adjust the way that the veneers fit and feel so that they’re comfortable for you. You will be shocked at how dramatic the change is when you have veneers in place! Veneers typically do not require any special care or treatment. We can check on them at every one of your checkup appointments to ensure they are still intact, and are free of any damage or cracks. Most porcelain veneers can last for about a decade before replacement is recommended.
