Lots of dentists don’t think it’s necessary to involve their patients when it comes to planning their treatment. But we believe it’s one of the most important parts of dental care. Not knowing what’s going to happen in terms of your treatment can feel a lot like getting a haircut while wearing a blindfold; you won’t understand what they did, and you probably won’t like the results.

One of the first things we like to do with our patients is imaging. We take x-rays and other images of your teeth and present them to you the way we see them. Then, we explain each step of the treatment process in detail, while referencing your teeth so you know exactly what’s going to happen.

If there’s one thing we don’t like, it’s pushing patients through treatment procedures that they  (or their teeth) might not be ready for. So after your consultation, we schedule you for an appointment with our dental hygienists.

This doesn’t only get your teeth prepared for your treatment but also acquaints you with the rest of our team.
